Many readers are in the final two weeks before Ironman Florida.  I have a few good resources for you:

• Strauss IMFL Pre-Race Talk, Friday, Nov 7, 9:30am.  I've given this talk four previous times, with over 60 athletes in attendance at IMCDA.  Aso in attendance will be Brian Shea, Owner of Personal Best Nutrition and USAT Certified Coach. Brian will be racing this year and has competed in Ironman Florida 2x, posting a 9:47 in '01. He will be on-hand to help with any questions you may have regarding race-day nutrition, and pacing.  It's free and all are invited.  Don't miss it.
• Guidance to navigate the most mentally challenging period of your training, the final two weeks.  Includes links to my Ironman How-To and Mental Focus articles. Ironman: Final Two Weeks

For those of you already thinking of next season, Steve Brandt, assistant swim coach at Emory University, leads a great discussion on Front Quadrant Swimming.  Steve and I will conduct an Ironman training clinic at Emory, March 3-5.  More details soon.
