coming soon!
|
Half Iron Distance, Advanced,
with powermeter $99.00
You have a powermeter and are or have the potential for a sub 5hr Half
Ironman. We start in Week 1 with 5 swims, 3 bikes, and 5 runs,
including a Quality bike on Tuesday, a 1hr Long Run on Thursday and
3hr Long Bike on Saturday. 2 of the swims are optional recovery
sessions. The long run volume advances quickly to 2hrs in Week 5. One
of the bikes is a semi-long ride (2-2.5hrs) on Sundays. The hallmark
of the plan is aggressive Functional Threshold cycling on Tuesdays,
design to significantly boost your Functional Threshold watts over the
course of the plan. Your highest volume week is Week 7, with 16:40
scheduled. Most weeks bounce around 10-12hrs hours. |
Iron Distance,
Intermediate, with Power, 2nd Edition $99.99
This athlete has completed or has the potential for a sub 13hr
Ironman. Weekly volume ranges from a 9hrs during recovery weeks to a
peak of 17hrs in Week 21. The plan is structured around a quality bike
Functional Threshold (FT) session on Tuesday, long run Thursday, long
bike on Saturday and semi-long bike on Sunday. The hallmark of the
plan is a focus on creating an effective Training Stress Score (TSS),
primarily by manipulating the intensity of your cycling. |
Iron Distance, Intermediate,
with Power, Hilly Bike, 2nd Edition $99.00
Same as the Iron Distance, Intermediate, with Power, Ver2 but tweaked
to meet the demands of hilly bike courses like IMWI, LP and CA. |
Iron Distance,
Intermediate, with Power, Race Prep, 2nd Edition $99.99
Last 11 weeks of Iron Distance, Intermediate, with Power Ver 2, for
athletes only requiring help with their Race Prep period. |
Iron Distance, Advanced, with
Power, 2nd Edition $99.99
This athlete has completed or has the potential for a sub 11hr
Ironman. Weekly volume ranges from a 10hrs during recovery weeks to a
peak of 20hrs in Week 22.
I will
challenge you to wait until Week 17 of your plan to do your first 5hr
ride, but you'll do a LOT of work in those shorter 3-4hr rides. We've
had athletes make 10-15% gains in FT wattage over only 3 months. This
stuff works! |
Iron Distance, Advanced, with
Power, Hilly Bike, 2nd Edition $99.00
Same as the Advance with Power plan, but tweaked to meet the unique
demands of hilly bike courses like IMWI, IMLP, or Canada. |
Iron Distanced,
Advanced, with Power, Race Prep, 2nd Edition $99.95
Last 11 weeks of the Advanced, with Powermeter, Version 2 plan, for
athletes only requiring guidance for the final stages of their race
preparations. |
Off-Season, Intermediate
Half and Iron Distance Athlete, with Power $99.00
The plan name refers to the longest race you completed in the season
just ended. The plan is designed to prepare you equally well for
either a half or full Ironman NEXT season. This athlete is
likely a sub 6:30 half Ironman or sub 13:00 full Ironman athlete. The
plan will peak you for an early spring half marathon and 40k TT or
similar cycling test. The plan is written within real world
constraints (limited daylight and outdoor training opportunities) and
is designed to create high Functional Threshold wattage and running
pace, while maintaining very solid running endurance through high
frequency and very consistent 1:30-2hr long run volume. The plan also
begins with bike and run testing in the first week. If you are coming
back from an extended layoff, you may want to get in a few weeks of
consistent training before beginning the plan. |
